The life of the people: no luxury, no compulsion to consume, little comfort. Accompany your ancestors through an Ice Age year. Close to the elements, in harmony with nature.

To be seen for the first time in the world. A 1,500 m² Gesamtkunstwerk of high-quality animal reconstructions, original finds, specimens, replicas and impressive skeletons awaits you. An absolute highlight is the unique Ice Age skeleton of the “Man of Neuessing”: it is being presented for the first time together with the latest spectacular research findings.

From Ice Age to “Hot Times”? Changes in living conditions on Earth are not happening for the first time in its history. The exhibition concludes with questions, facts and consequences of current climate change.

Watch out nature detectives! Mammoth Molli has numerous hands-on stations in the exhibition. Here you can feel, discover and play! There is also a play area outside.
