Diversity & Variety

We show attitude(s)

The Lokschuppen Rosenheim exhibition center is a non-profit, municipal institution serving society that exhibits tangible and intangible heritage.

Experience the world openly

We are a cosmopolitan place that stands up for universal human rights: for respectful coexistence and against hatred and discrimination of any kind. We offer a variety of experiences for reflection, education and knowledge exchange.

Mixing is possible

We stand for cultural diversity and cultural exchange and also demonstrate this plurality. We sensitize ourselves to all forms of diversity and also live respect and tolerance in our exhibitions. We are accessible to the public, barrier-free and inclusive wherever possible, and we promote diversity and sustainability. We work and communicate with communities in an ethical, professional and participatory manner.

Knowledge makes us diverse

We convey the content of our exhibitions as objectively as possible and in line with the latest scientific findings. We show people in all their facets. This can also include exclusionary, belligerent and human rights violating practices from history. As cautionary examples that history must not be allowed to repeat itself in this form.

We reject identitarian, right-wing populist, right-wing extremist and nationalist attitudes.

All people are different, but equal. Our society is colorful and diverse.

"All people are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and shall act towards one another in a spirit of solidarity."

(Article 1 of the human rights)
